Cherry Hill High School East's Fashion Club
Fashion 4 A Cause!
"Cougars on the Catwalk" Fashion Show
On April 16th, 2010, Cherry Hill High School East's Fashion Club
presented their first-ever charity fashion
show event entitled Cougars on the Catwalk! This
fundraiser is very personal to one of the Club’s members, Samantha Kofsky, whose brother Mitchell has FD. She and her fashion club
did a fantastic job in
organizing this great event and we are excited about her unique way of spreading the word on FD. The event
took place at Cherry Hill High School East, located at 1750 Kresson Road in Cherry Hill, NJ, and all proceeds
raised are being used to fund treatment and research for the benefit of people with FD.
There were 3 fashion categories and 40 models and performers,
as well as free giveaways and food!
The show raised over $2,000 for the Dysautonomia Foundation and raised
FD awareness in the Cherry Hill community.
If you would like to support Samantha and her club’s efforts but could not
attend the show, donations can be made by visiting www.famdys.org/donate and referencing “Cherry Hill” or by calling 212.279.1066.
